Polis Re (polisre.com) is an insurance marketplace and referral service that helps individuals and businesses compare insurance types and insurers, run calculators and request quotes, and supports reinsurance placement. We are looking for people who enjoy explaining complex products in plain language and who put the client's interests first.

Insurance consultant
Insurance consultants work with clients who request quotes or advice through polisre.com, by phone or by e-mail.
- Clarify the client's needs and collect the information insurers require.
- Explain coverage options, limits, deductibles and exclusions in plain language.
- Coordinate with insurers and licensed partner producers to obtain and compare quotes.
- Follow up on renewals and help clients prepare documents when they need to report a claim.
- Keep accurate records in our customer relationship management (CRM) system.
Regional development manager
Regional development managers build Polis Re's presence in a region, such as New York, California, Illinois, Texas, or an international market.
- Identify client segments and partners, including licensed agencies and producers.
- Develop relationships with insurers and intermediaries active in the region.
- Gather feedback on local regulations, products and client needs to improve our content and services.
- Coordinate with the central team on campaigns, events and reporting.
What we look for
- Experience in insurance, financial services, or client-facing sales or service.
- Clear written and spoken English; additional languages such as Spanish, Chinese, German, Arabic or Russian are a plus.
- Comfort with online tools, CRM systems and remote communication.
- Honesty and care with clients' personal information.
- For roles that involve selling, soliciting or negotiating insurance in the United States: a state producer license for the relevant lines of authority, or willingness to obtain one. Licensing requirements are set by each state; see our article on careers in insurance.
How we work
We aim for plain, accurate communication with clients. We do not promise coverage before an insurer confirms it, we do not pressure clients, and we encourage them to read their policies. Insurance policies are issued by licensed insurers and placed through licensed producers in the client's state.
