About Auto Club Enterprises
Auto Club Enterprises (ACE) is a group of AAA motor clubs led by the Automobile Club of Southern California, which was founded in Los Angeles in 1900. Its affiliated Inter-Insurance Exchange began insuring Auto Club members in 1912, and homeowners coverage followed in 1983. The core business functions are based in Costa Mesa, California. After acquiring clubs in Texas, New Mexico and Hawaii and forming further affiliations, ACE describes its presence as covering 21 states.
