Health insurance is issued by Bupa HI Pty Ltd, and Bupa Asia Pacific is part of the Bupa Group, a global healthcare company with more than 75 years of history.

Bupa sells hospital and extras cover, overseas visitor and student cover and corporate plans. It also markets travel, car, home, pet, landlord and phone insurance and runs aged care homes, Bupa Dental, Optical and Hearing stores, medical visa services and medical clinics. Bupa has more than 6 million customers in Australia.
