About China Life
China Life traces its predecessor to the insurance company approved by the central government in October 1949, one of the first insurance businesses in the People's Republic of China. In 2003 China Life Insurance Company was restructured into China Life Insurance (Group) Company, which was the sole founder of China Life Insurance Company Limited. The listed company floated overseas in 2003 and returned to the domestic A-share market in 2007. Its head office is on Financial Street in Beijing's Xicheng District.
Products
The company focuses on personal life insurance, health and accident insurance, annuity and pension products, and group insurance sold to employers. It distributes through a large agency force, bank channel account managers, group insurance sales staff and service counters across China.
