ERGO was formed in 1997/1998 by merging experienced German insurers, including Victoria, Hamburg-Mannheimer, DKV and D.A.S. It is part of Munich Re, where it acts as the primary insurance specialist. Head office: ERGO-Platz 1, 40198 Düsseldorf.
