It is a wholly owned subsidiary of Jackson Financial Inc., a Delaware corporation that became an independent public company on September 13, 2021. Jackson is not related to Prudential Financial. Its insurance subsidiaries are licensed in all 50 states and the District of Columbia; Jackson National Life Insurance Company of New York serves New York.
