About La Segunda

La Segunda was born on July 11, 1933 as La Segunda Sociedad de Seguros contra Accidentes del Trabajo S.A., with a cooperative outlook and a focus on Santa Fe and Córdoba. On October 13, 1961 it obtained legal status as a cooperative, La Segunda Cooperativa Limitada de Seguros Generales. Its head office is at Juan Manuel de Rosas 957, Rosario. The group's stated vision is to rank among Argentina's top three insurance groups while keeping its cooperative values.

Group and products

Alongside the general insurance cooperative, the group includes a workers' compensation insurer, La Segunda ART. Products include motor and agricultural insurance, commerce and business cover, fire, transport and cargo, technical (engineering) insurance, boats, operational all-risk, surety and personal accident.

Distribution

Policies are sold through a network of insurance producers (productores asesores) and offices across Argentina.
