About New China Life
New China Life Insurance (NCI) held its opening ceremony on September 6, 1996 in Beijing. Central Huijin became its largest shareholder in 2009, and in 2011 NCI completed simultaneous IPOs in Hong Kong and Shanghai, the first A+H concurrent listing by a Chinese insurer. Its stock codes are 601336 (A shares) and 01336 (H shares). The head office is the New China Insurance Tower on Jianguomenwai Avenue, Beijing.
Products
NCI sells life insurance, critical illness and health products, annuity and pension products, and wealth-protection plans. A pension subsidiary handles occupational pension business, and the group also operates retirement communities and health check-up centers.
Distribution
Products are sold through agents, bank partners and online channels, with 34 provincial branches completing the national network by 2004.
