About New Era Life
New Era Life Insurance Company was incorporated in Texas in 1924 to sell life and health products. Its name comes from 1989, when new management took over with a consumer-first approach. The privately held family of companies includes New Era Life Insurance Company, New Era Life Insurance Company of the Midwest and Philadelphia American Life Insurance Company. The home office is in Houston, with satellite offices in Omaha, Dallas/Fort Worth and Denver. Its plans are available in 49 states.
