nib was established in 1952 and describes itself as one of Australia's fastest-growing health funds. The parent, nib holdings, is listed on the ASX and publishes announcements and annual reports for shareholders. Its head office is at 22 Honeysuckle Drive, Newcastle, New South Wales.
Products
nib offers hospital, extras and ambulance cover for singles, couples and families, overseas student health cover (OSHC) and overseas visitor health cover (OVHC), plus travel insurance and other products for members. nib health funds limited also issues health insurance sold under partner brands, such as Suncorp Health Insurance.

Members manage cover and claims through the nib app, online member account and the nibby chat assistant.
