About PICC
The People's Insurance Company (Group) of China Limited developed from the People's Insurance Company of China, established on October 20, 1949, and calls itself the pioneer of the insurance business in the People's Republic of China. The group completed its H-share listing in Hong Kong on December 7, 2012 and its A-share listing in Shanghai on November 16, 2018. Its head office is on West Chang'an Avenue in Beijing.
Group structure
PICC operates through 11 subsidiaries and member companies, including PICC Property and Casualty, PICC Life, PICC Health, PICC Asset Management, PICC Pension, PICC Reinsurance, PICC Hong Kong and a trust company. Together they cover property and casualty insurance, life and health insurance, reinsurance, asset management and insurance technology.
