About Primerica
Primerica, Inc. is headquartered at 1 Primerica Parkway in Duluth, Georgia, and trades on the NYSE as PRI. It traces its roots to A. L. Williams, an agency founded in 1977 to promote the idea of buying term insurance and investing the difference. Primerica became an independent public company on April 1, 2010, which it calls its re-founding.
Products
Primerica's licensed representatives sell term life insurance along with third-party mutual funds, managed accounts, annuities and other financial products. Term life is underwritten by Primerica Life Insurance Company and, in New York, by National Benefit Life Insurance Company; Primerica Life Insurance Company of Canada serves Canada. It was the third-largest issuer of term life coverage in the U.S. and Canada in 2025.
