About UNIQA
UNIQA's oldest predecessor, the Salzburger Landes-Versicherung, was founded in 1811; the Austria Versicherungsverein followed in 1860. The predecessors adopted the common UNIQA identity in 1999. Head office: Untere Donaustraße 21, 1029 Vienna.

UNIQA offers health, life, motor, home and commercial insurance. The Austria-Collegialität line has been Austria's largest private health insurer since 1948. The group has expanded across Central and Eastern Europe through acquisitions and new companies in countries such as Poland, Romania, Serbia and Albania.
