Products are provided through a large number of operating businesses, often called Berkley companies, which underwrite on behalf of one or more affiliated insurers. Examples include Acadia Insurance, Admiral Insurance, Berkley National, Carolina Casualty, Gemini, Key Risk and Berkley Life and Health. Together they write excess and surplus casualty, commercial property and auto, workers' compensation, professional and management liability, and accident and health coverage.
