ZhongAn Online P&C Insurance Co., Ltd. was founded on November 6, 2013 as the first online-only insurance company in China. It listed on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on September 28, 2017 under stock code 6060. The company is headquartered in Shanghai and works on an “Insurance + Technology” model.

Products

ZhongAn underwrites property and casualty and short-term health insurance sold online: health and medical plans, e-commerce and shipping-return cover, travel and transport cover, pet insurance, consumer finance protection and cover for services such as food delivery and flexible work. It distributes mostly through partner platforms and its own app.

Group companies

The group includes ZhongAn Technology, which sells insurance software to insurers in China and abroad, and ZhongAn International, whose virtual bank holds a license in Hong Kong.
